George Bush Shoe Attack

The following is the video of George Bush Shoe Attack

I believe what this man has done to this country needs very little introduction.
Beginning at his January 29, 2002 State of the Union address, President Bush began publicly focusing attention on Iraq, which he labeled as part of an "axis of evil" allied with terrorists and posing "a grave and growing danger" to U.S. interests through possession of "weapons of mass destruction".
Since then till date the American military resides in Iraq and is running operations that have been debated very much.

JONES TOWN AUDIO CLIP

The following in an audio recording made on November 18, 1978, at the Peoples Temple compound in Jones town, Guyana
Jones town was the informal name for the Peoples Temple Agricultural Project.
This was a Christian destructive, doomsday cult founded and led by James Warren Jones (1931-1978)
James Warren Jones had strong religious passion and a unique interest in death.
Due to this weird interest, he became a symbol of brainwashing.
He believed that Bible was fake and it was like a fairy tale.
The Peoples Temple was initially structured as an inter-racial mission for the sick, homeless and jobless. He assembled a large following of over 900 members in Indianapolis IN during the 1950's.
On November 18, 1978: 914(638 adults and 276 children) people died in the settlement as well as in a nearby airstrip and in Georgetown, Guyana's capital
Most appear to have committed suicide by drinking a grape drink laced with cyanide and a number of sedatives, including liquid Valium, Penegram and chloral hydrate.
The actions in Jonestown were viewed as a mass suicide, it is the largest such event in modern history and resulted in the largest single loss of American civilian life in a non-natural disaster until the events of September 11, 2001.

Godhra Riots (Iconic Photograph)

The following photograph symbolizes Godhra Riots.
The photograph is that of Qutubuddin Ansari and it was taken during the Godhra riots in 2002.
Communal violence had erupted in several cities of Gujarat in Feb 2002 when, in Godhra, a train was forcibly stopped by a (reportedly Muslim) mob and set afire. Consequently, 59 Hindu people burned alive inside the train. As a backlash, Hindu community attacked Muslim prominent areas and wide spread violence ensued.

During riots a large mob of rioters gathered outside his residence and they wanted to kill him and his family. Ansari did not see any escape and he pleaded to the mob not to harm his family. This was the moment captured by Arko Datta and the photograph became face of the Godhra tragedy in which 790 Muslims and 254 Hindus were killed.

The Jonestown Death Tape

The sound of the children crying... It echoes in my mind.

Three times I tried listening to the tape and three times I took the headphones off. The crying got to me. Knowing that they were all going to kill themselves got to me. I couldn't go on.

Then I braced myself, put the headphones on a fourth time and tried again. And I learnt that this man was advocating Death. "If we can't live in peace, let us die in peace". And then there was a woman, who I think he called Christine who was advocating Life. "As long as there is life, there's hope".

Oh my god! Why didn't they just listen to Christine and live it out instead of taking the easier way out?

They could have lived. They could have fought. There was indeed hope while they lived.

The sound of the children screaming... It stays with me as the recording comes to a stop.

Why was it supposed to happen?

I remember the days when the newspaper was merely a death report. I was just in class 8th.I did not know what was happening around. All my parents would tell was the term 'Riots'. I was travelling to Gujarat during their most happening time of the year, The Navratre and the Garba..And all I discovered during that small trip was a question: Why was it supposed to happen?

They came and they killed. Who were they? A  group of alleged enemies. None knew each other but still they fought for a cause so unknown. It's as if small kids who do not know anything but cry because the others are doing so. The train I was travelling in was flooded with Policemen and as we reached Godhra early morning on 2nd October 2002, it felt as if a silent land of crying souls is taking its course in the morning. Trying to tell people around that it is recovering and healing. They shut all the doors of the train I was in as a matter of precaution. Through the window I could see this picture framed out on the station and large number of condolences being offered below it. But was it worth it for the people who died. Strange it was for me when the old lady in my Granny's neighbourhood said that before they could understand what it was it just ruined their life.

A mere piece of uncertain thinking, which ends up ruining the worlds of many. How does a Bread earner of a small little poor family know that a caste or a religion he is in can be as disastrous as a natural calamity. Was it for this day that our great freedom fighters gave us a free land to live in? The young generation of the country learns from such incidents and carries them ahead. But it's time to wake up.. Have we not had enough of these irrational issues creeping in time and again that we should grow above them and think about other concerns of poverty and unemployment? It's not just about 794 Muslims and 254 Hindus, it is about humanity. We are born as humans and humanity is our first and foremost religion.  Think about it... Why was it actually supposed to happen?

I remember in my school days I came across quite eminent Julius Ceasor's play in which Mark Antonio's powerful oratory so effectively swayed the people against the Ceasor's assailants and eventually avenged him. But thats all the fiction stuff but what we have here is as real as anything after all we are talking about nearly thousand lives polished off within a day. We can look it at two ways;one being the most impetuous one that is to put it on the moral grounds and biasing it as a sin or righteous act ( those prejudiced to God's delusion) and the other one which I looked upon as not being judgemental but to ponder on the charisma of a man who just by his words so cogently made 914 people to end their lives in a world where we beat up our a**es to get even a small job done from even our associates.

If you hear the man out he's not any of those big-guns out there, just a common revolutionary determined in what he believes ,knows what to do and wary of people expecting  from him the direction to follow up on. His speech ,full of simplicity but yet so rabble-rousing that masses instantly aligned with him knowing of the fact that its just not their life but more importantly their family's lives that is called for. More than 900 Americans died in a South American jungle upon the orders of Rev. Jim Jones, who had tried to create a socialist paradise. Thirty-three people who began that day in Jonestown escaped with their lives.

What is left of Jonestown today? Nothing. The settlement has disappeared, the buildings dismantled and carried away by native Indians. Jungle weeds and trees have overgrown the area again. The only notable relic left to be found are the remains of one small rusting garden tractor. What persists is simply silence.

At the farewell visit to Iraq, Bush discussing about the falling levels of violence over there and at that very moment happened this shockingly amazing incident which proved to be the awsmst farewell kiss to him by the Iraqis.

It was one of the most funniest incident ever happened, even Al Zeidi don't managed hard to protect Bush from being hit and Bush was standing still as if waiting for more ………

All that he could say was" ALL I CAN REPORT IS THAT IT'S A SIZE 10".

But politically,

It was not right, it was a disrespect shown towards America.

Yeah it's true that there is a criminal history of America towards Islamic era, which do agitate anger in their hearts and minds but it should be handled politely and diplomatically.

But on an average this incident was a mixture of politics, comedy, drama and lot more.

Once again the color RED was seen...... And the occasion was not HOLI but was another outburst , a result of the hatred that has been growing in the minds of the people for fellow countrymen of other religions. While the political parties were busy blaming each other and terming the disturbance as pre-planned.They somehow forgot to notice the 790 Muslims and 254 Hindus who were killed. 223 people who were reported missing. The  523 damaged places of worship . The 61,000 Muslims and 10,000 Hindus who were forced to  fled their homes. And the 10,000 rounds of bullets fired by the police, killing 93 Muslims and 77 Hindus. However this is the official data that was released and the actual loss both in terms of "human" life and businesses accounts to much more. This sad face is not only of the state Gujarat but also of the entire country ever since the independence. It is ironical that even after 63 years of independence INDIA is still bound by the shackles of communalism and subsequent hatred which has been  and still is breeding in the minds of the people.
The godhra incident was highly disgraceful and the verdict in which only a few of the guilty were convicted and the rest of the mob responsible for the actual massacre puts a question mark even on the judicial system of the country. Many politicians who were blamed of being the masterminds behind this  still roam around freely.
Its high time we understand that INDIA shall truly become independent once it is released from the chains of various religions. Its high time the concept of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD and SECULARISM is understood... for if its not now it can be never ... and that will only result in GODHRA REVISITED...!!!

Infernality !

This is the only word that strikes my head after getting to know the course of events that happened rather

were intentionally executed. I see the week long turmoil that occurred back in Nov,1978 as an act of

"vivified persuation that resulted in a volcanic eruption" .

Leo Ryan, the Congressman undoubtedly playing the hero here ,determined to bring the truth in context with the  Peoples Temple's authority to light and to resolder a psycho's mob that had turned atheist , a puppet completely dazzled by his words.

Jim Jones, the villain whom i would love to adore with the noun i started off with. His actions proved that he was mentally ill and enjoyed combining his issues with drugs and social-violence and that made him lethal. I mean, yes, he was charismatic but with a obnoxiously dark aura-bound soul.

Manipulator, was able to more or less execute over 900 people. Blind to what the folks plead for, what their eyes yearned for because being the Czar was all he could see in his Guyanese district which ended up turning "THE CULT OF DEATH".

You confess about leaving Jonestown and with the dusk you end up becoming history .Hesitation to provide clearance to the reporters in Guyana, a cult kept completely sacked from the electronic domain and hence the globe and several vaguer nods, all prove his obscene side .The one which as a consequence compelled more than 900 people to unwillingly bestow their innocent lives for simply nothing.

Perhaps he tried being  Che Guevara and Fidel Castro sorts but failed big time indeed !

What i infer is that a lot of people join cults because they can't stand taking charge of their own life. Give up control and end up nowhere.

IN MY OPINION JIM JONES WAS A COWARD .
HE CONSIDERED HIMSELF A MAN OF THE GOD WHICH DEFINITELY WAS NOT.
PEOPLE LIKE HIM DESEREVE TO BE RAPED BY THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO DIED IN THAT MASSACRE.
THEY SHOULD BE LEFT ON A DESERTED ISLAND WITH A 99 YEARS OLD WOMAN.
THEY SHOULD BE KICKED IN THEIR CROCH WITH A BOOT WITH CACTUS ATTACHED TO IT.
THEY DESERVE TO EAT THE SAME FOOD EVERY DAY THROUGHOUT THEIR LIFE.
IF I WERE PRESENT ON THAT DAY I WOULD HAVE GONE STRAIGHT TO HIM AND SAID "JUST SHUT UP AND SU** MY DI** AND THEN KILL YOURSELF COZ I DONT WANNA PAY YOU BIT**."
WHEN I WAS A KID I WANTED TO BECOME A SNIPER JUST TO SHOOT THE BALLS OF SUCH GUYS BUT  ENDED UP BEING A  VIDEO PIRATE..

BORI WALA BABA

George Bush Shoe Attack

How many times does one get to see such blatant shows of disrespect and personal outrage committed against any public figure. True, one could argue Bush to be the reason for loss of innumerable lives in a short span of time. True, one could argue that all of Bush's motives were not above board. True, one could continue further and follow the 'lunch hour school bully' tack against the US actions. But among all the 'dirt flying around' shall we stop and ask... "Is this what the freedom of speech and actions has fundamentally boiled down to?" " Is this the true form of journalistic fervour?" Amidst the gloom of clear and present contempt, can we but see the glimmer of anarchy and a veritable 'royal rumble' taking root and form?
The shoe throwing incident, was one person waging a personal war. A journalist at that. It doesn't suit a dispassionate profession such as journalism to be vexed to the point of public display of personal opinions. As soon as such biases are given free reign, they tend to color the objectivistic view of the situation. This in turn becomes a potent weapon for misinformed public opinion and knee jerk reactions. I say 'misinformed' because a biased view gives only that...a biased view in which people are ill equipped to weight all the facts and come to a conclusion for themselves, more so because the conclusions they 'should' come to has already been concluded. No more is the journalist a dispassionate bystander who reports as he sees, but he has evolved into reporting as he thinks. Even though on a cursory glance this seems quite an 'evolution' of sorts, I beg to differ.
Once people start reporting colored opinions, it no more remains an object of consistency, but is answerable to Einstein's Theory of Relativity....ie, the veracity of the report is no more a function of its existence, but a function of the viewer , as such defeating its very purpose.
One man, Muntader al-Zaidi, chose to see the Iraq war as contemptible loss of human life and used them as justification for his actions. What if another comes up and puts a new spin on the viewpoint.
People were already repressed under the dictatorial rule in Iraq, many of their freedoms were curtailed, much of their life was spent languishing in their duties to their dictator. They spent their life dying a slow and prolonged death. Not being able to live upto their potential of life, not able to taste of all that life had to offer them, dying unsatisfied suffering. What if the many that died, they were the price to freedom, the price for others to live under a democracy, the price for 'brave' people like Muntader to be allowed to throw shoes at authority without the fear of death as a penalty. What if the death of the many that died, was the price for a better life!
Sure there will be teething troubles in the beginning, but is that reason enough to continue under the yoke of suppression? The options that the people had were two -
1. To continue living under the regime and die a slow death .... and continue living under the regime for all eternity
2. To sacrifice one's life for freedom and democracy and hope for a better future for the generations to come.
Will perhaps, in some distant future , George Bush be named as the saviour of the Iraqis??

In throwing the shoe, Muntader used the freedom granted to him to question the freedom granted to him . Oh the irony!

Thus has all reality become the functions of thought.

Just like Peoples Temple led by James Warren Jones as far as I know there were two more groups that are close to the events that took place on November 18, 1978.

One is Heaven's Gate , an American UFO cult based in San Diego, California, founded and led by Marshall Applewhite (1931–1997) and Bonnie Nettles (1928–1985).

Heaven's Gate members believed that the planet Earth was about to be recycled (wiped clean, renewed, refurbished and rejuvenated), and that the only chance to survive was to leave it immediately. While the group was formally against suicide, they defined "suicide" in their own context to mean "to turn against the Next Level when it is being offered," and believed that their "human" bodies were only vessels meant to help them on their journey. In conversation, when referring to a person or a person's body, they routinely used the word "vehicle;" when shown a picture of his son in an interview, Rio Di Angelo commented, "Look, there's the little vehicle."

On March 26, 1997, in a period that Comet Hale-Bopp was at its brightest, police discovered the bodies of 39 members of the group who had committed suicide.

Another one is Solar Temple ,a secret society based upon the modern myth of the continuing existence of the Knights Templar.OTS was started by Joseph Di Mambro and Luc Jouret in 1984 in Geneva as l'Ordre International Chevaleresque de Tradition Solaire (OICTS) and renamed Ordre du Temple Solaire.

On October 1994 Tony Dutoit's infant son (Emmanuel Dutoit), aged three months, was killed at the group's centre in Morin Heights, Quebec.

Di Mambro ordered the murder, because he identified the baby as the Anti-Christ described in the Bible.

A few days later, Di Mambro and twelve followers performed a ritual Last Supper. A few days after that, apparent mass suicides and murders were conducted at two villages in Switzerland, and at Morin Heights — 15 inner circle members committed suicide with poison, 30 were killed by bullets or smothering, and 8 others were killed by other causes. Many of the bodies when found were drugged, possibly to prevent the members from objecting. The buildings were then set on fire by timer devices, purportedly as one last symbol of the group's purification.

But these other events are nowhere near to PEOPLES TEMPLE.

I wonder what kind of leader James Warren Jones would have become if he hadn't started doing drugs .

I strongly believe what happened was a disgrace. Disgrace for all Indians. Be it Hindus, Muslims or anyone else. Events like these lead to hampering of communal peace and disturb the serene atmosphere all over the world.

The riots led to death of thousands which was unnecessary and led to widespread communal violence across states. Had the police and other central security agencies been vigilant, this event of mass killings would have been avoided.

In the recent verdict, only a few of those responsible had been found guilty, while those Hindus, who killed hundreds of Muslim families in an outrage were released. This shows the impact of communal-ism and religion on the Indian political and judicial system. Many politicos whose name came into light for involvement roam free and some are still in rule.
Only Indians can understand and feel the pain of being ruled by such murderers. DO YOU??

George bush shoe attack

The reasons stated by George bush to start an attack on Iraq in his congress assembly after he received a one-page summary of the National Intelligence Estimate were:

(1) reliance by the United States on further diplomatic and other peaceful means alone will neither

(1A) adequately protect the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by Iraq nor
(1B) likely lead to enforcement of all relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions regarding Iraq; and

(2) acting pursuant to the Constitution and Public Law 107-243 is consistent with the United States and other countries continuing to take the necessary actions against international terrorists and terrorist organizations, including those nations, organizations, or persons who planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001.

He started the invasion in iraq to find weapons of mass destruction(WMD) which were posing a threat to  world's security.

But according to Iraq Survey Group, military  did not find the large quantities of weapons that the regime was believed to possess. On December 14, 2005, while discussing the WMD issue, Bush himself stated that "It is true that much of the intelligence turned out to be wrong". Bush nevertheless continued to assert the war had been worthwhile and confirmed he would have made the same decision if he had known more.

Even though America did not find what they started the war for , the documented civilian deaths from violence due to the war till date  are 1,00,029-1,09,296.

Moreover as of February 2010, around $704 billion has been spent based on estimates of current expenditure rates on Iraq war by America .

WHY DOESN'T AMERICA UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS POVERTY AND ILLITERACY THAT IS THE BIGGEST ENEMY OF THE WORLD AND THEY SHOULD TRY AND COMBAT IT WITH THIS KIND OF MONEY.
